How to Find TikTok Shop Affiliates and Creators for Your Brand
By the Rey team · AI Employee for Creator Marketing
All articlesI told Rey to invite every beauty creator over 100,000 followers. She asked what any of them had sold.
The short answer
TikTok Shop affiliates come from Affiliate Center, creators already selling your competitors’ products, sales-ranked creator search, a creator manager and inbound sample requests. Whichever you use, start with recent GMV in your category, then check content activity, sample completion, price point and audience fit. Followers alone do not tell you whether someone can sell your product.
Where TikTok Shop creators come from
- 01TikTok Shop Affiliate Center. Find Creators helps sellers review category, follower range, GMV and sample history. Targeted collaboration lets you invite specific creators with terms and a sample offer. Open collaboration lets qualifying creators add products at the commission you set. Check your shop’s current invitation allowance before sending.
- 02Creators already selling in your category. Pull up competitor products and look at who posts shoppable videos for them. Those creators already have the demo habit and an audience that buys in your category. Kalodata and FastMoss provide product and creator analytics.
- 03A search ranked by sales. Rey has read the sales history of 4M+ TikTok Shop creators and scores matches on what they sold, in which category and at what price. Describe the creator you want in plain words and she comes back with a ranked list and a reason next to each name.
- 04A creator manager. If nobody on your team has the hours, someone needs to own recruiting, samples, post follow-up and reporting. That hire used to be a person or an agency. Rey is an AI Employee who does agreed creator-marketing work and asks before consequential actions.
- 05Inbound requests. As your shop gains traction, creators may request samples themselves. Use an approval rule based on category sales, recent posting and completion history rather than shipping to every request.
What to filter on
Followers measure potential reach. GMV shows whether buyers have purchased. These are the filters Rey runs, and they work by hand too:
- —GMV in your category over the last 30 days. A creator who sold $4,000 of skincare last month has relevant sales history. A creator with 900,000 followers and no Shop sales is a less proven bet, not a guaranteed failure.
- —Videos posted in the last 30 days. Check whether the creator is active before sending product.
- —Sample-to-post history. Review how often received samples become content. Avoid repeatedly shipping to creators who take samples and rarely post.
- —Price point. A creator whose average sold item is $12 may not convert a $60 serum the same way. Match the price range they already sell.
- —Audience location. For a US shop, check the US share of the audience before you ship anything.
The invite
A useful targeted invitation has four parts: the commission, the sample offer, the brief and the deadline. Model the commission against your margin rather than choosing it from habit. At 15% on a $30 product, the creator earns $4.50 per unit.
Keep the brief short: “Show it on, say the price, link the product.” State the applicable posting deadline; TikTok’s free-sample guidance uses 14 days from receipt. Make the sample terms and any shipping costs clear before the creator accepts.
Rey drafts the invite. Commission is not a number she changes on her own. When a creator asks for 25% on a product set at 15%, she brings you the math on both numbers and waits for approval.
Then the follow-up: a note when the sample ships, a check-in after delivery and a thank-you once the post is live. Schedule it instead of relying on somebody to remember.
Questions people ask
Can I find TikTok Shop affiliates for free?
Yes. Affiliate Center is the native seller option. Creator commission, sample costs and fulfillment are separate costs even when you do not buy third-party search software.
How much commission should I offer creators?
The draft’s 10%–20% range is a starting point to model, not a platform requirement. Set the rate per product based on margin, creator fit and the offer. At 15% on $30, commission is $4.50.
Do I have to send free samples?
Not every collaboration requires a free sample, but creators often need the product to make useful content. Consider free or refundable sample options and their current terms.
Are creators with more followers better?
Not necessarily. Check category sales, content quality, completion history and audience fit alongside followers.

Sources and current requirements
Platform requirements and prices can change. Check Seller Center and the vendors’ current pages before making a decision. The order examples use a 6% referral fee for the calculation, not a guarantee of your shop’s rate.
